"I was recently referred to Chris through a friend. I went onto her website and absolutely loved the images – especially of the children. We have a 6 year old daughter who does not relish having her photo taken. The last professional session we had was when she turned a year old! From the very beginning Chris was professional yet extremely personable. We selected an atypical setting for our shoot - an old dilapidated ice factory in Midtown. I was expecting Chris to shy away from this location opting for a more traditional setting but she didn't. In fact, she admitted that she was excited to work on something different which delighted me. She suggested we meet prior to our session so she could meet Madison, see the setting and discuss the types of shots we wanted. What a great concept! Maddy warmed up to her right away and actually was looking forward to the day of our shoot. "I recently had my 3 children's pictures taken with Christine Henning and it was the best experience we have ever had. In a studio, the kids are acting silly or being shy or not posing together. We agreed to meet her at a nearby park. It was fun for the kids because Chris is so great and patient with them. This way the kids are relaxed and there were no "cheesy smiles".
